1. Information We Collect

To provide the SnapEstimate Service, we collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, business name, and business zip code.
• Customer Data: Information inputted into the AI chat widget by your end-users (homeowners), which may include names, contact information, property details, and project descriptions.
• Usage Data: IP addresses, browser types, and interaction metrics with our AI widget.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for business purposes, including:

• Calibrating localized pricing models based on your zip code.
• Aggregating anonymized data to refine our localized pricing models and system accuracy. We strictly prohibit the use of homeowner Personally Identifiable Information (PII) for training public AI models. Our third-party AI provider (OpenAI) is bound by enterprise API agreements that prevent them from using your customer data to train their base models.
• Sending you leads and system notifications.
• Maintaining system security and preventing fraud.

3. Payment Processing

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. SnapEstimate does not store, process, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or other raw payment card data. All payment information is transmitted directly to and stored by Stripe in accordance with their Privacy Policy. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

4. Homeowner Data & Sub-Processors

When homeowners use your SnapEstimate widget, we collect personally identifiable information (PII) including names, phone numbers, zip codes, and project descriptions. With respect to this data:

• SnapEstimate acts as a Data Processor on behalf of you (the Contractor), who is the Data Controller.
• We use the following third-party sub-processors to securely route and process this data:
  • OpenAI — AI chat processing and estimate generation
  • Supabase — Database hosting and authentication
  • Resend — Transactional email delivery (lead notifications)
  • Railway — Application hosting infrastructure
• We do not sell, rent, or share homeowner PII with data brokers, lead aggregators, or any third parties not listed above.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

In addition to the sub-processors listed above, we do not sell your personal data or your customers' data to data brokers or lead-generation competitors. Data is shared only with essential infrastructure providers necessary to operate the Service.

6. Data Security Disclaimer

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot and do not guarantee the absolute security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.

7. Data Retention

We retain account data and generated estimates for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we reserve the right to delete your data from our active servers. We are not responsible for maintaining backups of your leads or estimates once your account is terminated.
